U8s and The Big Man

An early start for a snappy, exciting and fun 1 hour training session for the Under 8s was in order this morning for 17 players.

We have welcomed 2 new players so far this season who seem to be fitting in very well with the rest of the children.

A really encouraging training session with players showing a good deal of determination and some great creative play.

We finished at 10 o'clock and awaited our turn to be called for a group photo... There were so many people at the club - most of them bigger than our players, but it was easy to point our special guest out as he towered over everyone!!

A great photo, some autographs that will be treasured forever and an insight into how the Juniors, Colts and Seniors train - we had 7 year olds with eyes out on stalks - a great Sunday morning all round!!
