Supporters needed!

This Sunday sees the finals of the National U17 competition being held at Sale Sharks ground, AJ Bell stadium. Heathfield U17 have progressed to the Plate final to play a currently very successful Kidderminster Carolians team from the Midlands. https://www.pitchero.com/clubs/kidderminstercaroliansrfc/

The Plate is the second level in this competition.

Heathfield has a good reputation in this Competition with the class of2012 winning the Bowl title (the third level) at Worcester. The 2015 team are already the most successful Sussex team in the competition, as no other Sussex club has ever made it this high. Can the 2015 team go one better?

The stadium address is Stadium Way, Eccles, Manchester M30 7WH.

The team coach is travelling up on Saturday and is full. Travelling by car or train will be difficult to do on the same day so some are staying overnight.
The other alternative is to fly – unfortunately the only available flights seem to be from Heathrow at 10.10 or 11.55 on BA. The latter is scheduled to land at 12.55 which is fine for the 2.30 kick off only if there are no delays!
There is a flight back at 7.35.
Looking at www.britishairways.com there still seem to be seats available, return cost about £110.

The Kidderminster Carolians website says that they are sending several coach loads of supporters so any support will be very welcome.

Good luck to the team - and watch this space on Sunday afternoon!
