Heath out gunned by the Sussex Champions

The scoreline just doesn't do justice to the improvements and commitment made by Heath's team compared to last year. The scrums, rucking, lineout and effort by all the team was superb. Everyone had their moment of big hits and outstanding tackles but Brighton are not Sussex champions for nothing and in the end broke down the spirited Heath side.

The first half was deadlocked for 25 mins as Brighton, leading by one try, found themselves camped in their own 22 for most of the half however, Heath were unable to score and quickly found themselves conceeding two more tries as the midfield defence was found wanting.

At half-time Brighton led 24 - 0.

In the second half Heath conceeded another early try but struck back after a loose lineout in the Brighton 22 was seized by Lol who drove over to score.

Brighton struck back immediately after Heath failed to secure the re-start and broke through some weak tackling to score. Injuries started to affect the home team and following another Brighton try the game was over.
