Heathfield v Uckfield

The U18s played Uckfield, on a very muddy and heavy pitch. Having identified three ladies who were still eligible to play for the team we started the game with 11 players, Uckfield lent us two more to make it a 13 aside.
Slow out of the blocks the girls were 20 -0 down at half time. Lets say it’s a game of two halves and H&W started much stronger after the break matching Uckfield tackle for tackle and try for try, the final score was 37-15 which doesn’t reflect the performances in the pitch. Try scorers for Heathfield were Miss Sandeman (x2) and Miss Fulwell.
