Many congratulations to our former H&W RFC colt Piers O'Conor who has been called up for England this weekend at Twickenham. This season has seen Piers establish himself as starting centre in the Premiership for Bristol Bears. Everyone at the club is hugely proud and wishes him the best.

In facing the Barbarians he will of course come up against Joe Marler, Cross-in-Hand's best known player (and staunch low-profile supporter) in the front row.

On the same day at Twickenham...Emily Sowell will be starting on the wing for Sussex. So best of luck to Emily and ALL of the Sussex Ladies against Yorkshire.

Meanwhile Henry Paul is heading to Georgia with England students and Lars Thorkilsden will be getting his 14th cap for Norway.......
