Heathfield & Waldron RFC

The ladies 1XV will compete in Championship 2 for the 2025/26 season, following a promotion-winning campaign in 2024/25 — making them the highest playing women’s team in Sussex.

The team was formed in August 2016 and began by playing friendlies, entering the league structure in the 2017/18 season. After topping the table, they earned promotion to National Challenge 2 for the 2018/19 season. They repeated their success with another league-winning performance, securing back-to-back promotions and continuing their rise through the ranks ever since.
