What a great start to the season!

Crucially the whole squad was involved on the day, all the subs played key roles and the new faces (both boys and their parents) were welcomed to the banter and the bar. Meanwhile .......we scored 7 tries (with 7 different scorers) and convincingly beat a strong opposition who have had the edge on us over the years.

The margin of victory was ultimately justified but the boys had to dig deep when, early in the second half, the score was just 15-5 and Chichester were on the front foot. This was the key point and all the boys should be congratulated for their attitude, commitment and decision-making.

No need to single out individuals ..... this was a great squad effort which bodes well for a challenging and fun season.
