Dab Hands on the flightpath.....

The important news first:

All 27 of the boys and 18 unwitting / foolhardy adults are booked for the away flight and overnight trip to Jersey in March. Many thanks to The Islanders for their help and hospitality. This is great news for a great squad and the main reason for doing all this nonsense.

Meanwhile.....FWIW we are improving on last year ...

Last season (let’s be honest) we were soundly thumped by Worthing, which in itself was no disgrace as they reached the end-of-season final. This time we matched Worthing up front for large parts of the game and we scored 4 very good tries out wide. That’s the good news and our boys should definitely take the positives.

However Worthing fully deserved their win as they were more threatening when they had possession. They had greater variety and, having 2/3 lads who play at County level or higher, they have some very strong and powerful runners. Well done to them.

Next up we still have another 3 league games before Xmas so there is still plenty to play for.
